Buying on ArcList
How buying works
You buy from independent sellers. Pay at checkout and ArcList holds your money until your item arrives.
Paying at checkout
Items with a Buy button are paid through Stripe, our payment provider. ArcList never sees your full card number.
Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link appear where your device supports them. A card works everywhere.
You pay the item price and the shipping shown before you pay. There is no buyer fee.
Your money is held until delivery
The seller is not paid when you pay. ArcList holds the money until one of these happens:
- You press “I received it. Pay the seller” on your order page.
- 14 days pass after the item ships, with no problem reported.
Either way, the seller is never paid sooner than 3 days after you pay.
If the seller has not shipped within 7 days of your payment, you are refunded automatically.
If something is wrong
Press Report a problem on your order page before the money is released.
That freezes the payment until a person at ArcList reviews it.
We look at what you and the seller send us. Then we refund you, in full or in part, or pay the seller.
Confirm delivery only after checking the item. Once you confirm, the order can no longer be reported.
Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law or with your card issuer.
Shipping
Shipping is a flat price from the seller, or a rate for your address. You see it before you pay.
When the seller ships, you get an email with the tracking number and a link to your order.
The seller gets your name and shipping address, and your phone number if you gave one. Never your email address.
Returns
ArcList sets no return window. Each seller decides whether to take returns, so ask before you buy.
If something is wrong with what arrives, report a problem before the money is released.
Items without a Buy button
Some items have no Buy button. You buy those by messaging the seller.
Your message and email address go to the seller, and replies come straight to you.
ArcList takes no payment for these sales and cannot refund them. Agree on payment, shipping and returns with the seller.
Who you are buying from
Every item is listed and sold by an independent seller, not by ArcList.
ArcList does not inspect or authenticate items. Condition, size and authenticity are as the seller states them.
